Seller notes: “An exquisite and classy BREITLING chronograph watch, this rare 18k Ref. 178 'Extra Plat' from 1944 ... “An exquisite and classy BREITLING chronograph watch, this rare 18k Ref. 178 'Extra Plat' from 1944 has been professionally and fully serviced in-house here at our Localtime Spa. It is in excellent authentic condition throughout and ready to proudly wear or join your collection. The 35mm [37mm counting the centre crown] 18k rose-gold case is in excellent unpolished condition. The golden dial and gorgeous blue hands have an even patina commensurate with age and are a feast to the eyes. We have included many photos, including some closeup snapshots we took, just for fun. A scan of the original Breitling catalogue is also attached and you can see this model on the bottom right. This lovely chronograph is fitted with a handmade genuine crocodile strap in large grain dark brown. As with all the watches we service in-house here at the Localtime Spa, this too comes with a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase.
