These are indeed counterfeit. Really good ones at that but couldn't fool me. The seller did offer an immediate return. Also did not contest to me calling out their counterfeit sales. Beware of those that warranty "New Genuine" items. Also, Dell does not provide a manufacture date. Just a code to decipher the date.
