An antique Briggs Patent Teneriffe lace maker's brass wheel on its original green baize cushion. The wheel is fixed to the cushion with pins and is engraved with the words:

Briggs Patent Teneriffe Wheel

This unusual piece is in good condition with a few small holes in the green woollen fabric cushion. It measures 4.25 inches (11 cm.) square and the brass wheel measures about 2.2 inches (5.5 cm.) across.
