The green leather is in very good condition. There are no marks, stains or scratches to the top of the leather. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the desk frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There is no missing handles or any damage to the frame or legs. All drawers are smooth running and close flush to the frame. The central drawer retains its original working lock (with a working key). The drawer bottoms and linings are all constructed of solid oak and hand-dovetailed. This item is solid in joint and ready to be used.”
