Original full colour covers with the 20 cent price to front cover. In nice condition for its age, with some wear and creasing to covers, and a small closed teat to the rear cover (see pictures). The rear cover is detached. Pages a little browned as usual. Clean and free of inscriptions. Stories include - The Yellow Claw by Sax Rohmer, Flat 2 by Edgar Wallace, and Camel's Eyes by Oscar Schisgall. Scarce.Best Detective Magazine was published by Street and Smith in America from 1915 to 1949. It was one of the first pulp magazine devoted primarily to crime fiction, although there are occasionally Western and early Science Fiction stories. Despite its popularity at the time, copies from the twenties and thirties are now scarce.”
