Seller notes: “The video card boots up, loads windows, and browses the web like normal , but anytime a game or ... “The video card boots up, loads windows, and browses the web like normal , but anytime a game or other demanding application is started, the card will heat up too much and too fast. There is one small screw missing that is attached to the fan and one screw stripped that attached the plastic housing to the heatsink ( does not affect strength at all though). Cosmetically, there is one small crack in the housing (pictured in listing). Things already tried to fix it unsuccessfully include replacing thermal paste, trying an aftermarket solution to see if it could have been the fan going out, verifying good and even contact between GPU and heatsink, and replacing thermal paste once again. The only thing I did not try to do is doing the baking trick on some computer sites-you can try at own risk if desired.”
