The most common cause for cancellations is late delivery. The factory then offers them to the wholesale customers at a substantially lower price than the original manufacturer's price to the store group who ordered them in the first place. Store labels are removed, cut or blacked out in accordance to requirements of the chainstores. This is in order to protect the intellectual rights of the original high street chainstore and to prevent unauthorised store returns. Labels are removed by the manufacturer or by wholesaler before sale. All items of clothing have labels with washing instructions and fabric content.”
