Vintage book 'NINETEEN EIGHTY-FOUR - A NOVEL BY GEORGE ORWELL' first american edition, published by harcourt, brace and company in 1949. Hardback without dustjacket. Printed design on front cover and spine. There is wear tear and marking to the cover and spine, some age browing to the pages, especially at the edges, binding is a little wobbly where it has been well read, but no pages becoming loose etc.
