Seller notes: “There is damage which someone has tried to repair - both dogs heads are glued on, crackling to the ... “There is damage which someone has tried to repair - both dogs heads are glued on, crackling to the glaze which is not unexpected for a piece of this age (see close up pictures) small chips on bases of the garniture and crackling to the glaze. nice to see that it has is probably original brass movement inside - this undoubtedly needs a good clean and service - it runs intermittently by giving it a slight nudge but with patience it is slowly improving and now runs for an hour or so without stopping probably needs a clean and service only. many of these clocks are being retro-fitted with quartz movements - selling as a nice Display piece with damage as described and pictured in AS IS condition and NO RETURNS because of that - remember this is a very delicate item and cannot be insured in transit - any risk is the buyers (I will make sure that the three pieces are well wrapped packed and boxed to reduce any risk involved) Looks stunning on a desk or great on a mantle piece or a sideboard.”
