The item was packed very well. I had purchased a chess set from another seller that was about € 50 but it was very poor quality. Since this one was almost three times as much I expected excellent quality. Unfortunately the item did not match the picture in the ad, which showed high quality corner joints on the board. What I received had different, simple, cheaper joining. The board does not sit flat due to improper hinges used. Some pieces are not flat on the bottom and wobble on the board.

Very disappointed with this gift I'd ordered for a friend as it is so small it's embarrassing to give it her because it looks so small! On the picture it looked like a normal notebook bit when it came it was literally the size of a matchbox!! So I have wasted my hard earned money.
