General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials. By purchasing an item from Biker Parts Direct you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.
 
Ordering from us
The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the statutory rate current at the date of invoice. The company reserves the right to alter prices and / or specifications at any time and without prior notice.
 
Payment
No goods shall pass from the company to the customer unless and until the customer has made full and complete payment to the company. It is the customers responsibility to notify Biker Parts Direct in the special instructions box of the details of their vehicle. If the incorrect product is supplied due to failure of this then Biker Parts Direct will exchange the product and charge a handling fee of 2% plus any extra cost of the replacement product. If the replacement products costs less than the original item, Biker Parts Direct will exchange the product and refund the difference, minus the 20% handling fee.
 
All payments are made via eBay's Managed Payments System. Payments can be made via: Credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, PayPal Credit.
Full cleared funds must be received by Biker Parts Direct before the goods will be dispatched.
 
Delivery
Fast delivery on all items to mainland UK addresses. (Please note we do not ship to PO boxes and BFPO addresses). Our usual delivery time shall be 2-3 working days from receipt of payment. Express deliveries are sent on a next working day service and do not include weekends or public holidays. Once the item has left us, we are in the hands of the carrier and rely on them to attain the target delivery time. We do supply contact details for the carrier upon the order being dispatched and please contact our office if you need us to chase a delivery. Our courier may have the option for you to divert your parcel to a Parcelshop for you collect from there. This can be done yourself via the courier website or app. If no one is available at your address to take delivery, our authorised courier company, will follow the delivery instructions provided to us by you. If no leave safe instructions are specified, the order will be left in an area that the authorised courier company considers safe. Once the delivery is completed, according to the preceding paragraph (i.e. signed for by a customer, left in a safe spot as specified by the customer or considered safe by authorised courier company, or delivered to a neighbour if no leave safe is provided or available) the risk of any damage or loss of the box will be with the customer.
 
Overseas Deliveries: We send all parcels outside the UK via eBay Global Shipping. With GSP, all customs, duties and tax calculations required for selling and moving goods outside of the UK will be automatically taken care of. You will always see and pay the full postage, duties and taxes at checkout. There are no extra charges when the items arrive at your delivery address.
 
IMPORTANT - IF THE ITEM IS DELIVERED DAMAGED YOU MUST SIGN FOR IT AS DAMAGED AND NOTIFY US WITHIN 24 HOURS OR WE CAN NOT MAKE A CLAIM FOR MISSING/DAMAGED GOODS AND CAN NOT REPLACE THEM FREE OF CHARGE.
 
Guarantee
The company guarantees that should our products not be to the standard, or in any significant way different from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by the customer, but shall only apply to the item/s in question. Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to the company in writing within 10 working days of order date. Biker Parts Direct will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to a faulty product by the customer unless they have been agreed, with prior arrangement by Biker Parts Direct. This clause does not affect your statutory rights. The company does not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which our products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.
