Nicholas Mosse tall Jug, 8 inches.     

        

The jug measures just over 8 inches in height. It measures 4 inches from spout to handle. The jug is one of Mosses earlier designs before the move to the more familiar designs which are produced today. The piece is in pristine condition with no evidence of much use. There are no cracks or faults that we can detect after very close examination. It was originally bought as a wedding present and had been displayed rather than used.

The jug/pitcher fits into the salad/vegetable serving bowl which is also up for auction.
