Seller notes: “A Beautiful Nishiki Asian Woven Brocade from the Tatsumura Institute of Textile Art which has ... “A Beautiful Nishiki Asian Woven Brocade from the Tatsumura Institute of Textile Art which has locations in Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.Nishiki has been used for Old Books, Costumes, Sash Materials, Mounting, Altar Cloths, Surplices and Noh Costumes.The Fabric is mounted on a Gold Cardboard Background that measures 16 1/2" x 30 1/2". Cardboard has some minor use/bump marks around the edge.The Fabric measures 13" across by 22" with an additional 3" of Black Fringe at the bottom. There is Black 3" Fringe at the top as well that is part of the 22" measurement.The explanation that is entitled "Nishiki" is also included which came with the Fabric Art as well as the Asian Characters explanation. The Gorgeous Fabric is in excellent condition.”
