Thank you for using our web site. All members of the Baby2k.com team aim to provide quality products, product knowledge and outstanding customer service to all our customers. Here are the conditions of sale so that you are aware of all the important details before you place your order. We provide products and services through our web site which are provided on the basis of these terms and conditions. In return for using and benefiting from our web site you agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself where required.
We have taken great care to check all specifications: weight, colours, descriptions, sizes etc. However, our suppliers reserve the right to alter specifications and make improvements to their products without notice. Therefore, all details are to be taken as approximate.
Prices and Payment
The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. Payment methods are as follows:
Most major credit/debit cards and PayPal payments can be taken online using the secure VBV and Master Card Secure Code technologies. Please be aware that we do not accept American Express Credit Cards.
(Please note that when you purchase any Jane Travel System, the pushchair seat unit is supplied free of charge. All you pay for is the chassis and car seat.)
Delivery Times and Charges
We operate a 24-hour (Monday to Friday) courier service which means you should normally receive your product the next working day. You must order before 12 noon for this to be the case. However, in some cases due to circumstances beyond our control delivery can take up to 2 working days and we will notify you of this when possible.
For orders being sent to Northern and Southern Ireland the delivery time is usually 2 to 4 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Again, you must order before 12 noon for this to be the case.
Some more remote areas of Scotland might also find that their order takes 2 to 4 days to arrive and may incur an additional postage charge. We would notify you of this before dispatching your order.
All courier deliveries must be signed for by the customer or a family member at the designated address given at the time of ordering and identification of the card holder needs to be shown (e.g. Driving Licence, Passport or a utility bill). Please note that some smaller items may be sent via the Royal Mail by Recorded Delivery and will need to be signed for on delivery. Items sent by Royal Mail usually take 1 to 4 working days to arrive.

Postage to Northern Ireland is £15.00 per parcel up to 20kg and an additional £1.00 per kilo thereafter, Southern Ireland is £15.00 per parcel up to 20kg and an additional £1.00 per kilo thereafter. If your order requires more than one parcel to be sent, we will contact you with the postage charge details prior to sending your order.
Orders from other U.K. areas are welcomed and can be quoted for by contacting us via e-mail or phone.
In the event that you are not in at the delivery address when the courier attempts to deliver, the driver will leave a card with instructions to call the depot, which must be responded to as soon as possible. You can arrange to collect your parcel from the courier’s local depot (you must take ID with you). The parcel will be kept at the depot for a maximum of five days before it is returned to Baby2k.com. In this instance you are liable for the courier charges incurred. If you then require Baby2k.com to resend your order there will be a redelivery charge to pay prior to posting. This charge will depend on the weight of the parcel.
*Anti-fraud security measure: We will only deliver the goods purchased from Baby2k.com to the billing address of the card holder when the purchase is funded with a credit or debit card. If the purchase is funded using PayPal, we will only send goods to the "confirmed" address on your PayPal account. If we receive an order with an "unconfirmed" PayPal address, we will refund the amount debited and cancel the order without prior notice.
Out of Stock Items
If an item that you order is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible (within 24 hours Monday to Friday) and let you know how long it is likely to take for your order to be fulfilled. Then once the goods arrive in stock, we will notify you that they are being dispatched. Alternatively, you have the right to cancel your order on notification that the item is out of stock and a full refund will be given.
Cancellations
As an Internet Consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the goods, thus giving you time to inspect and consider your purchase. Your cancellation notice must be received in writing via fax or e-mail and your order number (B2K-?..) or the date of purchase must be quoted so that we can identify your order promptly. You must take reasonable care of the product and its packaging whilst it is in your possession. The product, in its original packaging where possible, must be returned at the expense of the consumer. Your original order payment will then be refunded as soon as possible (at the latest within 30 working days).
Please be aware that pushchairs should only be tried indoors to decide whether they are suitable. If used outdoors prior to notification of cancellation (within the 7-day period), the cost of new wheels will be deducted from your refund.
Warranty and Refunds
In the unlikely event you incur a problem with the product we have supplied, please contact Baby2k.com immediately by phone, e-mail or fax (see Contact Page). You will be required to provide proof of purchase such as your order number which starts B2k, or the date of purchase so that we can locate a copy of your order.
If it is decided that the goods need to be returned for inspection, this will be at the purchaser's expense. Normally, products are sent to our suppliers for inspection and if it is found that a manufacturing fault exists this will be rectified at our (or our supplier's) expense and any carriage costs incurred may be refunded. At all times, we consider our supplier's decision in relation to complaints as final, as they have more experience in these matters than ourselves. In the event that a fault develops which is not due to a manufacturing fault, the cost of repair and transport will be at the purchaser's expense. We reserve the right to send spares (free of charge) to purchasers if their purchase is more than 28 days old. Should we send replacement parts, you will need to keep the old parts for a period of 6 months or to send them back to us if requested.
Due to safety standards we are not able to exchange or refund car seats/bases, mattresses, clothing or reusable nappies unless faulty or damaged.
Privacy
We are well aware that consumers are often concerned about their details being supplied to third parties and would confirm that on no occasion does this occur via the members of this group. We hold on file purely the minimum details required to make transactions and provide relevant details to credit/debit card companies (banks) and our transport companies as per their trading conditions. We do not pass details of our customers to any other party, nor do supplying members pass details of customers to other members of the group. Details of customers are kept on secure files and include name, address, contact phone number etc. and possibly credit or debit card details. These are kept for the minimum time required by law or deemed relevant by our partners (whichever is the shorter). We do not send e-mails to our customers other than what is relevant to a requested order. For our customers’ convenience, cookies are used on this site.
All products ordered and delivery costs (if applicable) must be paid for in full (and authorized) prior to goods being dispatched. If there is a problem with processing your payment, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Members Services
Certain services are only available to Members. To become a Member of the Baby2k.com Society you need to complete the Members Form. When you register as a Member you are stating that you are at least 18 years of age or are a minor with parental consent.
Discounts to individuals are at the discretion of the staff at Baby2k.com and any decision is final.
