Seller notes: “3 Piece English antique christening cutlery set comprising of knife,fork and spoon contained within ... “3 Piece English antique christening cutlery set comprising of knife,fork and spoon contained within original case. The spoon is hallmarked from London in 1833 with the makers mark being that of Thomas Dicks. The knife is hallmarked from Sheffield in 1830 with the makers mark being either that of Alexander Hunt or Aaron Hadfield. The fork is hallmarked from London in 1835 with the makers mark being that of William Eaton. Knife measures 165mm, fork measures 145mm and the spoon measures 136mm. A small dink close to knife blade tip otherwise all in good order.<P>Dates and makers being different is common on such items and we have no doubt these items when placed in the box were intended to be a set.”
