 Although football programmes are now more like professional magazines there was a time when they were no more than
a few pages of paper with the team names, fixtures and tables and maybe a couple of articles.

In 1965/66 the Football League decided to issue clubs with a magazine that they could use to bulk out their programmes, these
magazines featured some great articles and team features that give a fascinating insight into football of that era which makes
them a really interesting read for any serious football fan.

These were initially called Soccer Review and the first couple of years editions were predominately in black and white (colour
photos started appearing regularly in 67/68), after one season they changed the name to Football League Review (1966/67)
and then changed it again to League Football in 1972/73.

Unfortunately they stopped being issued in 1974 and have since become collectors items.

As far as we can tell there were 332 different issues over the years, with some issues being a lot rarer than others, we know
this for a fact because we have thousands of these little magazines and while some of them we have loads of there are others
where we only have a couple or indeed none at all !!

Obviously because of the age of these (theyre now well over 40 years old !!) some of them do show signs of aging with
some yellowing and the odd signs of wear, however as we have several of most of them we will ensure we send you the
best condition one we have of that issue. Of course if your not happy with it we offer a money back guaratee anyway !
