Handmade, bears visible marks of hand tools, such as files. The inscriptions on the obverse appear to be struck by hand of a master coppersmith. Cast from bronze or similar brass-like copper alloy c. 15th-18th century. Slightly scratched, bent, and worn out due to devotional wearing as a pectoral, "body" cross, probably by several generations of Christians. Covered with the original, green patina from the past centuries. The necklace loop is robust, and is decorated with a small image of the cross. Authentic artifact from Europe. 100% sound, robust, and wearable.”
