No static when changing stations. Excellent reception on AM FM bands. FM band tuning is slightly off, so for example 97.1 FM is found around 98.1. Note that the "handle" on top is not a handle! That is a directional finder antenna so do not pick it up that way! Use the chrome handles on the side. Chrome shows some weathering. Overall super condition and well worth buying.”
