These shoes were made a long time ago, probably in the 1950s/early 1960s.They were unsold shop stock, and they are marked with the original shop pre-decimal price (6/11 - six shillings and eleven pence).They have survived well for half a century, but there are some minor scuffs and storage marks, including spotting on the insoles, possibly due to the glue coming through. The metal buckles have rust spots, and you will probably want to re-coat, replace or remove the buckles.”
