• Bourne Denby Pottery Studio Pattern Cup and Saucer made in Stoneware

    On offer are a charming, Studio pattern cup and saucer, made in stoneware by Denby Pottery Derbyshire England in the late 1950s early 1960s. The Studio pattern is a grey, abstract lined design, with vertical lines, which combine with a grey and brown-flecked glaze, cream is used inside and was discontinued in 1970. Note: slight shading differences did occur within the range over the years of production. The cup 7.5cm in diameter at the rim swelling out to 9cm near the base by 6.5cm deep the saucer is 15.5cm across and they are in a good condition, free from cracks or chips just the odd light surface mark commensurate with use and age. On the base are the Bourne Denby marks and the unpackaged weight is 428 grams.

    On offer is a charming Studio pattern coffee cup & saucer, made in stoneware by Bourne Denby Pottery Derbyshire England in the 1950s. The Studio design is a grey, abstract lined pattern, with vertical lines, which combine with a grey and brown-flecked glaze with an off-white interior and the design was discontinued in 1970. The cup is 5.5cm tall by 7cm in diameter at the rim, the saucer is 15cm across and they are in good condition free from cracks or chips. On the base are the Bourne Denby mark and the unpackaged weight is 379 grams.

  • Denby Pottery Cottage Blue Pattern Cup and Saucer made in Stoneware

    On offer is a vintage cup and saucer decorated with the Cottage Blue pattern, made in Stoneware by Denby Pottery Derbyshire, England in the 1950s. The Cottage Blue glaze is a deep lightly flecked blue with a mustard yellow interior, first produced in the early 1920s. The cup is 9cm in diameter at the rim by 5.5cm deep; the saucer is 14.5cm across. They are in good condition free from damage chips or cracks, just some light surface marks due to age or use. On the underside is the Denby mark although a bit faint. The unpackaged weight is 394 grams.
