• Denby Pottery Cottage Blue Pattern Cup and Saucer made in Stoneware

    On offer is a vintage cup and saucer decorated with the Cottage Blue pattern made in Stoneware by Denby Pottery Derbyshire, England in the 1950s. The Cottage Blue glaze is a deep lightly flecked blue with a mustard yellow interior, first produced in the early 1920s. The cup is 9cm in diameter at the rim by 5.5cm deep; the saucer is 14.5cm across. They are in good condition free from damage chips or cracks, just some light surface marks due to age or use. On the underside is the Denby mark although a bit faint. The unpackaged weight is 394 grams.

  • Denby Pottery Manor Green Pattern Cup and Saucer made in Stoneware

    On offer is a vintage cup and saucer decorated with the Manor Green pattern made in stoneware by Denby Pottery Derbyshire England. Manor Green is a solid green glaze with a cream interior. It was first made in the 1930s but was discontinued because of the wartime restrictions, and reintroduced in 1953 and production finished in the early 1980s. We believe that this is an early set due to the shape of the handle. The cup is 9cm in diameter by 6cm deep, the saucer is 14.5cm across they are in good condition free from crazing, chips or cracks, just the odd light surface mark due to age or use. On the underside of the saucer is the printed Denby Pottery stamp although very faint. The unpackaged weight is 422 grams.
