  • C19th Parian Fine White Porcelain Vase Blue Ground with enameled flowers C.1850

This is a white porcelain moulded vase dating from the middle of the nineteenth century. I would have said from the style that it dates from somewhere between 1820 and 1860. There is no makers mark, The vase itself is made from a fine, thin, light porcelain that is very translucent. The inside has a high gloss clear glaze, while the outside in contrast is more of a matt finish, with matt enamel colours. Size: 8 3/4 inches high (22 cm) approximately. Weight: 601 grams Condition: some wear to the blue enamel on the neck - one handle has been broken and glued together again. See the photographs for the exact condition.
