Authenticity certificate and dating later from the AJS & Matchless Owner’s Club state that the bike left the factory ( for Chas E Cope’s, Birmingham) on 24th May 1961. The certification also confimrs that the current frame number A80738, engine number 61/G12CSR x7077 and gearbox are all the original components.

This example is in good useable condition. It starts easily and sounds great, runs clean and no mechanical noises. It ticks over well, rides nicely and is quite quick upto 50mph . Gears (4-speed) & clutch are all A1.

Watsonian Monza single seat sidecar suit AJS, BSA, Norton, Triumph, Ariel, BMW. Here is a superb Monza sidecar, age unknown but in excellent all round condition inside & out. Has been in use until recently on an AJS single circa 1957.

The BSA Owners club records show it was despatched to Kirsop and Murray in Newcastle on Tyne on 28th May 1934. The engine appears to be changed and BSA show it leaving on 2nd May 1935. It was originally fitted with Maglita ignition but it now comes with a good magdyno and has a good spark.
