Boys' Formal Tuxedos

Boys' Formal Tuxedos

Whereas suits are more of an everyday affair that can be adjusted to be more casual or more formal, boys' formal tuxedos are generally specialised for quite formal occasions. This means that tuxedos are more appropriate for weddings, christenings, proms and very formal parties. They are generally considered inappropriate for funerals.

In children, a tuxedo is designed in a typical style all round with most design choices being made for age rather than the event. Polyester tuxedos and cotton blend tuxedos are available depending on the weather to make the suit more comfortable for your child.

Baby boy tuxedos

Tuxedos for babies used to be a niche range, but now there are dozens of choices in a variety of styles. They are typically built to be rather thin and in fewer pieces because babies find it difficult to regulate their own body temperature and are prone to overheating.

Young children

Buying a boys' tuxedo for a younger child is rather simple. The sets usually come as one and the only thing to take into account is that it may be wise to use a clip-on, pre-tied bow tie or suit tie as a traditional one will likely come undone during the day and you will spend the entire event re-doing it over and over again.

Older children

Tuxedos for older children or young teenagers come in more styles and they are just as simple, but it is advisable to go for a real bow or suit tie. This means that they can not only pick up a useful life skill early on but chances are they can deal with any instances of it becoming undone.

You can also afford to spend more on an older child's tuxedo as they are not growing as fast and are less likely to damage it during the event.
