Chargers for Olympus Tough Cameras
Olympus introduced its range of Tough cameras in January 2009. Designed to survive demanding environments and use, Olympus Tough cameras boasted high-end features from the outset and consequently gained a reputation for their ability to produce outstanding photographs and video in the harshest conditions.
Olympus Tough cameras
The original Olympus Tough camera line-up consisted of the Stylus Tough 6000 and Stylus Tough 8000. Subsequent launches included the TG1, TG2 and TG3 and today the range consists of the TG4 zoom lens and TG-870 ultra wide angle lens cameras, plus the TG-Tracker, a super-tough action camera for video and stills.
Olympus Tough camera batteries
Olympus Tough cameras are powered by Lithium-Ion camera batteries. Since their introduction, there have been three batteries types - Li-50B, Li-90B and an update of the Li-90B with a 5% higher capacity known as the Li-92B.
Olympus Tough Li-50B battery chargers
To charge the Li-50B battery, Olympus chargers include the Li-50C charger with a power lead for a wall socket and the UC-50 multi-charger that can power a battery from a wall socket or via USB.
Olympus Tough Li-90/92B chargers
For Li-90B and Li-92B batteries, the Olympus UC-90 camera charger is capable of charging directly from the mains or, like the UC-50 charger, via a USB lead that draws power from laptops and PCs. There is also a power adapter (F-3AC) that works directly from the mains.
