For sale is a ~2.5 gram sample of uranium ore. Using a GB18871-2002 detector this item gets from 3.38uSv/h up to 12uSv/h of gamma and beta (at a distance of 0cm from the tube, ore out of the glass container and actually touching the geiger tube).

I would think it is for an industrial application rather than automotive, due to the bulkhead mounting holes. Not sure if it works or not as I have no way of testing it.

Crompton Parkinson Analogue Galvanometer Rescued from my late father-in-law’s workshop. It is dusty and grimy and would benefit from a clean, but the needle is freely moving. It has not been tested electronically but it is thought to be working.

The slide in good condition shows thin section of granite from Dartmoor. Label and handwriting very similar to Richard Suter.
