    This is a magnificent early 19th Century French, Old Paris porcelain pot pourri vase and cover of square form on eagle head wing and clawed feet. Three of the four sides are decorated with oval panels containing en-grisaille floral displays and one with a beautiful young lady seated under a tree with a bird on her hand. The three floral panels are surround by raised gilded flower heads and double line on iron red ground. The front panel featuring the lady is surrounded by double gilt line and a rectangular green ground panel with dotted pattern corners which is surrounded by raised gilt spandrels on iron red ground. The rim is in the form of gilded, short stiff leaves. The square, pierced cover is decorated with scrolling leaves on pink ground and has a gilded crown knop. Circa 1810-1820. Height 18 cms. Sides 9 cms square.

He is missing someting in his hand , which has been coloured over and his arm has been broken off and repaired , there is also some glaze crazing with staining on the back of his trousers .
