The highly versatile Microsoft Surface Pro
Microsoft's Surface Pro is the newest addition to the technology giant's tablet family. Great for work and play, it combines the ultra-lightweight versatility and effortless usability of a tablet with the more advanced functionality and power of a laptop.
Released in 2017, the 5th iteration of Microsoft's Surface tablet demonstrates considerable development on the previous four models. It uses the highly praised Windows 10 operating system and features a powerful 7th generation Intel Core processor and up to 16GB of RAM. The battery life is also impressive, offering up to 13.5 hours, a 50% uplift on the Surface 4 model.
Highly portable and versatile, this Microsoft tablet can be taken anywhere you go. Finish work at your desk than transport it to the sofa for online browsing. Answer those pesky final emails in the car on the way to the airport, then download a film to lie back and watch on the plane.
This slim and lightweight device can be adapted into three different positions (or 'modes' as Microsoft calls them) depending on your needs. Laptop mode is employed by opening the integrated kickstand to the most comfortable angle then adding the keyboard cover so you can tap away with ease.
Studio mode involves lowering the kickstand to a deeper angle so that writing on the touchpad and using a drawing pen come naturally, or alternatively, remove the kickstand and cover entirely to make the best of tablet mode.
Sound and display are also given an upgrade for the Surface Pro. Its 12.3inch PixelSense display touchscreen creates a vibrant display with a razor-sharp resolution that's perfect for enjoying TV and films as well as showing off the photos you take with either of the HD cameras with 5 megapixels on the front and 8 megapixels on the rear with added auto-focus capabilities.
