His early work has a hint of London styling about it in several respects. However, that may not be significant, as at this early period, London influence spread throughout southern England. It is thought that Thomas died in 1750.

Lovely pair of quarter turned Grandfather clock pillars. They both have lovely shaped pieces for the top and bottom but they are not attached to allow the central columns to be cut if necessary. Lovely antique oak.

Nice quality Georgian styled oak cased miniature long cased clock, quality silvered dial, having 30 hour fully working mechanical movement consider late 19th century, stands 33cm high width at base 10cm depth being 6cm, offering free UK delivery.
Mid 18th.c. Good early oak case with a large square hood with deep moulded cornice, turned columns to the door sides and ogee mouldings below. Long slim door to the body over a short plinth with further ogee mouldings, raised panel and shaped feet.
