Thermaltake Computer Cases

Thermaltake is a Chinese company specialising in computer cases, cooling devices and other peripherals. It has a good reputation for quality products and an eye for detail when designing and assembling its computer cases. Thermaltake computer cases are available in three types: full tower , gaming case or mid-tower case.

Another sub-categorization refers to ATX, Advanced Technology eXtended. This is a motherboard configuration specification developed by Intel in 1995 to improve on previous industry standards like the AT design. Basically, the terms refer to the size of the motherboards they can host.

Unless you are an expert, when shopping for a computer case and its contents, the terminology and motherboards can be bewildering.

Gaming computers tend to be the most powerful devices and therefore, the cases required are larger than most. Many of Thermaltake's gaming computer cases have aesthetically pleasing, see-through panels and large doors making it easy to get to the internal parts of the computer. They also have extra ventilation and ports to install extra fans to prevent overheating. Many come in funky colours and have light up parts for extra style.

Many of Thermaltake's cases have a bulky, imposing look. Unlike many competitors they opt for vibrant colours and clear panels and separate compartments, allowing you to see your computer's motherboard, processors and other technical bits and pieces. The shelves and compartments allow you to keep cables that go in and out tidy.

Thermaltake computer cases are notable for the effort the company makes to ensure they are not only practical, useful and very space efficient, but also that they look good, seeing as they are such a noticeable piece of equipment.

A good example of a Thermaltake case is the Core P5 mid-tower range. This is designed for maximum exposure to the point where the case is even wall-mountable. Users can opt to stand it up vertically on a pair of plastic feet, or lay it down horizontally.
