Olaplex is a three-part hair treatment designed to restore damaged hair. It works on a molecular level to find broken bonds in the hair that have been caused by thermal, chemical and mechanical damage. Olaplex is especially beneficial for those with colour treated hair.
The three-step process
Olapex is a three-step process that consists of a Bond Multiplier, a Bond Perfector and a Hair Perfector. All three steps contain the primary active ingredient, bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate which repairs broken bonds in the hair.
The first step, No.1 Bond Multiplier is mixed with lightener, colour or chemical services during the colouring process at the salon. This way the product can be taken directly into the core of the hair strands and left on throughout the colouring process. It is the first step to rebuild broken bonds and prevent any damage.
The second step, No.2 Bond Perfector is applied after the colour has been washed off and is left on for around 20 minutes. This step continues to rebuild and restore any damaged hair whilst also conditioning the hair, making it as strong and shiny as possible.
Step three, No.3 Hair Perfector can be used once a week at home to strengthen hair. It ensures continuous protection even after you've left the salon and consists of an assortment of conditioning agents.
