Choosing the Right 3D Monitor for Your PC

The monitor you have for your PC is important. You want one that has good resolution and that doesn't look blurry all the time. You can find an affordable 3D monitor on Ebay to meet your needs or preferences.

What should you look for when buying a 3D monitor?

There are a few things that are important to know when choosing which 3D computer monitor to buy. The first thing you need to know is what you will be using the monitor for. Here are a few things to look at when deciding.

  • Resolution: The higher the resolution numbers, the better the picture. The least you would need is 1080p. The higher the number the sharper your picture will be. The highest resolution at this time is the 3D monitor 4K.
  • Response times: This is most important if you are a gamer. The shorter the response time the better. A short time will make for more precise movement on your screen. Response times typically go from 1 millisecond to 5 milliseconds.
  • Refresh rate: In this the bigger number is better. Refresh rate is the number of times your monitor updates with new information per second. A higher refresh rate will make your picture smoother and less choppy. This is most important for gamers. You will want a response rate of at least 74 Hz. Most monitors designed for gaming have a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
  • Curved screen: This is a highly personal choice. You might want to compare some curved and non-curved screens to see which one you prefer. Some don't see much difference in them. Another thing to consider is how far a curved screen will stick out from the wall it is against.
What brands are available to choose from?

Currently there are four brands you can choose from. The most common brands are ASUS, AOC, BenQ, Dell, LG, Sceptre, Acer, Lenovo, and Samsung 3D monitors, among others.

What size of monitors are available?

The smallest monitor available is a 21.5-inch, and they go up to a Samsung 3D monitor 27-inch.

What are the video inputs?

It depends on which 3D monitor you buy. The inputs available are DisplayPort, DVI-D, HDMI mini, HDMI standard, mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0, and VGA D-Sub. You can also find the different cables you will need for these inputs. Many of the monitors have more than one input to choose from.
