The CD5 is the entry-level CD player made by Naim. Check out the following features on the device:

• High-performance drawer - The high-performance drawer on the player is designed to eliminate vibrations, cutting down on resonant frequencies in the audio signal.
• Infrared remote - The infrared remote provides an extended range so that you can control the music player from any point in your house.
• Frequency response - The laser is capable of reading the entire sonic spectrum from 10Hz to 22kHz, giving you a broad dynamic range when listening.
• Independent suspension - The CD tray sits on an independent suspension, meaning it won't be affected if the device is moved during playback.
• DIN - Use the DIN output on the back of the device to connect it directly to a digital audio converter (DAC).

The Naim CD player has a variety of audio outputs, helping you connect to any audio device you want. There are RCA outputs so that you can connect the sound directly to an audio receiver. You can also use the S/PDIF outputs to connect to a variety of devices over a short distance. You must select which output to activate using the output switch next to the outputs.
