Models

The first model in this range is the Canon 100-400mm Mark I lens. Delivering a powerful zoom with rapid focusing time, this lens is ideal for snapping high definition sports shots. The Canon 100-400mm Mark II lens is the second lens in the range, and is seen as an updated version of the Mark I. 

The Mark II lens has the added benefit of a rotating ring zoom as opposed to the push-pull design of the Mark I, as well as a new lens hood with side window, making it possible to change the speciality filters without having to remove the hood for extra convenience. 

There are also updated to the Image Stabilisation, with Canon introducing a third mode which has been designed with action shooting in mind, for rapid focusing and reduced camera shake, meaning your photos come out crystal clear every time.
