Enjoy Timeless Quality and Beauty With Bulova Super Seville Watches

Luxury watch company Bulova was founded as J. Bulova & Co. in 1875 when founder Joseph Bulova created his first line of jeweled men's timepieces and in 1924, the first-ever full collection of jeweled women's wristwatches. The company was also the first to advertise over the radio as well as produce a television advertisement. It acquired a few companies: Competitor Westfield Watch Company for Bulova movements, the Sag Harbor Guild on Long Island as a Bulova watch-case factory, and a watch manufacturer in Villers-en-Lac, France. To this day, Bulova focuses on the precision of its watches. Bulova Super Seville watches are inspired by Rolex watches, particularly the Rolex Day Date watch.

What are the features of these watches?

They resemble the Day Date model of Rolex watches, with a full day complication at 12 o'clock and a date window at 3 o'clock. It also mimics its white dial and silver fixed fluted bezel design. The solid bracelet resembles the Rolex Day Date's "President" style bracelet. Unlike Rolex, however, its material is stainless steel rather than gold, silver, or platinum. There is an 18k gold and stainless-steel two-tone version and an 18k fully gold-plated version, which resembles the Rolex Day Date or Orient President" watches. Their movements come in either 17 or 25 jewels and either the ETA calibre 2834-2 or the 2836-2 for automatic (self-winding) movement. The watches are unisex and suitable for everyday use with both casual and formal wear.

Are these watches still produced?

No, they have been discontinued. Their manufacture began in 1979 and continued through the 90s.

What are rare versions of these watches?

All of the Bulova Super Seville watches are considered to be vintage collectible watches. However, a rare version is the two-tone gunmetal with quartz movement. Both the case and bracelet are stainless steel with gold steel. Another rare version contains a rare blue dial in an 18k gold-plated case, with 17 jewels. Finally, there is an 18k fully gold-plated calendar version featuring quartz movement and a case diameter of 26 millimeters.

Are there versions of these watches with square cases?

Not this model. However, there is a vintage 90s Bulova two-tone watch that resembles the Bulova Super Seville watches, minus the day date feature and with a square case rather than a round one.
