Whether taking after its namesake or the playing demands of Chris Paul, the Jordan Wolf Grey of 2019 is agile. This is thanks to a lightweight knit upper and herringbone traction on the rubber sole to enable grip. The herringbone extends through the midsole on the forefoot, making the shoe nimble. The Air Jordan CP3 12 provides thick air cushioning in the midsole while focusing additional support on the ball of the foot. Unique features of the shoe are Paul's owl logo in gold on the tongue and pull tabs on the heel and tongue. The Jumpman logo is on the back of the heel and on a slanted white strip partway across the toebox. The low-top wraps up with a black liner visible, trimming the collar. A perforated slate grey leather panel at the ankle contrasts with the remaining textured wolf grey upper.
