Jordan Son of Mars Black

August of 2015 brought the release of the Air Jordan Son of Mars 'Black,' a Spizike-inspired hybrid. Black dominates the premium leather upper with Gym Red Jumpman logos and lining on the heel and padded tongue, respectively. An OG Air Jordan elephant print covers the heel and forefoot, harmonizing with a midfoot Velcro strap that is laser etched with Michael Jordan and Spike Lee motifs. The strap veils the laces and matching mesh panels, the latter complementing perforated details at the ankle. The shark teeth silhouette on the midfoot channels AJ5 elements, offsetting a midsole equipped with a visible Air unit. Jordan branding and another Jumpman appear on the outsole, the Jumpman covered by a translucent tread.
