Jordan Son of Mars Black 2015

The Drop of the Air Jordan Son of Mars Black

With the Air Jordan Son of Mars Black, the Jordan brand fused pop culture and performance construction. Named for Spike Lee's Mars Blackmon, the shoe is another Spiz'ike-inspired AJ hybrid. It also borrows its colourway from Marvin the Martian, the famous Looney Tunes character who appeared in the OG "Space Jam." Like its Son of Mars siblings, this shoe has iconic Air Jordan elephant prints at the heel counter and forefoot. The midsole boasts a shark tooth silhouette from AJ5, offsetting Air technology visible through a cutout. A midfoot Velcro strap dominates the upper, its laser etchings enhancing the shoe's tone-on-tone charm. Vibrant Jumpman logos on the heel counter and the exterior of the tongue add iconic finishing touches.
