The Jordan 34 x Rui Hachimura Heritage 2020 Reveal
The Jordan brand partnered with Japanese-born NBA player Rui Hachimura in 2020 to bring the Heritage colourway to the Air Jordan 34 silhouette. Inspired by Hachimura's cultural roots, the left sneaker's eyestays and heel are styled to evoke the West African nation of Benin. The right shoe is created in tribute to his cultural ties to Japan in the form of a wave and cherry blossom design. The upper features smooth white leather. Both black and white are found on the midsole and the outer sole, creating a minimal design that showcases each sneaker's unique style.
