Discover the adidas Yeezy Boost 700
The Yeezy Boost 700 Enflame Amber 2021 continues the Boost 700 series with a striking new colourway. Here is some information about this model.
Boost 700 Series
In 2013, adidas collaborated with Kanye West to design a new kind of sneaker. After releasing some prior models, they released the first Yeezy Boost 700 in 2017.
As of 2021, there have been four iterations or versions with virtually the same silhouette. They differed in small but important adjustments to materials, styling, and colourways. The original Boost 700 continues to drop new colourways bearing the original 700 design and materials. The Enflame Amber colourway was released in June 2021.
Materials and Styling
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Enflame Amber upper features a beige monofilament engineered mesh along with leather and suede with brown, black, and blue overlays. The midsoles employ adidas' Boost technology. 3M detailing on the heel and a bright orange Boost midsole highlight its colourful design.
Boost Technology
All Boost 700 models employ adidas' proprietary Boost technology. A few years ago, adidas combined with a large chemical company to create a new cushion material for its products.
The Boost technology takes tiny thermoplastic polyurethane particles and expands them to form closed cells of air pockets. The product is known as expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (eTP U).
Since 2013, adidas has continued to research and improve the Boost technology with each iteration of the shoe.
