Spector Bass Guitars

Spector Bass Guitars are known as stand-out and well-crafted bass' by many in the music industry and those that play instruments. Many artists and musicians use the Spector brand, ranging from Justin Bieber's backing band to Mike Kroeger from Nickelback, and from Billy Ray Cyrus to Chris Kale of Five Finger Death Punch. Suitable for any genre, Spector offers many different types of Bass.

Exterior Design

In 1977, Spector created the NS1 curved body design. This became the basis for all bass guitars, acoustic guitars and electric guitars, in order to make them more comfortable to play while seated. The 1979 update, the NS2 curved body, is still seen today on all current products, even those not of Spector make, as it was so innovative and effective.

They come in a variety of colours, with different finishes, for example, a blue bass guitar with a translucent finish. Spector offers cases and strings, compatible and available for every official bass manufactured. With all these options, and eleven different series, each bass sold and made by Spector is truly unique. Each bass is made in the Czech Republic, Korea or China & Indonesia.

Interior Design

Depending on which series one chooses, every Spector bass has a different design. The popular Euro Series comes with choosable single and dual coils, changeable via on-board push and pull pots. The Legend series, on the other hand, comes with many more choices, choosing from SSD humbuckers to Aguilar DCB humbuckers. More types are available, ranging from the Coda Bass Series and their traditional coda body shape, or the NS Neck-thru Series, with the NS shape and signature crown inlays.

All these many different options of interior and exterior design results in unique bass', with very different sounds and very different designs each.
