Old and vintage photographs of Mahatma Gandhi, taken by his grand-nephew Kanu Gandhi. He was with the Mahatma for the last 12 years of his life. KG was the only one allowed to take Gandhi's photograph at any time. He was thus able to capture Mahatma Gandhi in all his moods and moments. Peter Ruehe (gandhiwadi) met KG at his home in Rajkot, Gujarat, in 1985. After his death in 1986 Peter helped his widow, Abhabehn, to arrange the photo-collection and lateron became the sole marketing agent of KG's photographs. Personally, he acquired a number of surplus photographs of the Kanu Gandhi estate, which are now made available on ebay. Hence, this is a rare opportunity to buy a piece of Indian history!
