How to file a complaint with eBay S.à.r.l. about payment services

If you’re a seller and something has gone wrong with eBay payment services, you can make a complaint. If you’re a buyer, this process doesn’t apply to you.

How to file a complaint

To make a payment-related complaint, select the Contact Us button below. Some examples of payment-related complaints include but are not limited to: delays in the disbursement of funds, blocked payouts, or account verification.

Only complaints that are submitted by post or the Contact Us button will be reviewed. We can’t accept payment services complaints submitted through social media, community pages, or other channels not mentioned here.

After you file a complaint

We’ll respond to your complaint within 10 business days from the date when you first contact us. If we’re unable to provide a resolution by then, we’ll send you a final email response no more than one month from the date you made your complaint.

After we respond

If you’re not satisfied with our decision, we’ll give you the steps to contact eBay S.á.r.l. Senior Management. If the final response from eBay S.á.r.l. Senior Management doesn’t resolve your complaint, you can contact the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) within one year of filing your complaint with eBay S.á.r.l.
