I had to shorten the cable so I cut into it. I found the wire pairs were NOT twisted as is required for CAT 5e. CAT 5 is straight and has lots of cross talk at speeds over 10Mbps. The cable also has neither ground nor shield.
Also I found the outer plastic insulation is not approved for UV exposure outdoors.
The seller is selling very cheap indoor CAT 5 cable and advertising it as indoor/outdoor CAT 5e cable. Do not buy it.
