    The small quartz point arrived today, partial base broken which makes it very difficult to determine the type. It appears to be an Alamance which are found in Western NC; however. without restoration by a talented artist it is difficult to determine. It would have been helpful if the county where the point was found could have been told ! Shipping charges for this small point could have been some what less. but was not unreasonable

    It was broken when it was found and stated so in the listing. I know it is from Ashe County North Carolina. Located in the mountains Most likely very old Cherokee, with a few other possibilism of tribes. I know because I found it. Cherokee and Chickasaw are the most well-known from this area.
