Theses reducers do not fit my lamp fittings exactly - they are approximately two to three millimeters too big!! They should fit comfortably inside the lampshade hole. I've had to make do with a poor fit but at least my lampshades are now fitted to the bayonet cap fittings and are useable.If you do buy these fittings which are supposed to reduce the European lamp shade holes to accommodate the UK bayonet cap fittings (B22) - I would suggest you obtain accurate diametres for the reducers.
