Mark Waters' fast-moving, gripping fantasy begins as Jared Grace, his twin brother Simon (both played by Freddie Highmore) and their sister Mallory (Sarah Bolger) move with their mother Helen to their great-great uncle's creepy home in the middle of nowhere.
