Seller notes: “An antique circa Art Deco miniature inkwell on black glass tray. The tray is sturdy but please see ... “An antique circa Art Deco miniature inkwell on black glass tray. The tray is sturdy but please see photos 16 and 17 to note there is a chip on the back edge. Not a major issue but very visible so please be aware. The tray measures approx. 85 mm x 40 mm. The underside of the tray is partly textured and looks blotchy but this is how it was made. I am unsure what the centre obelisk item is. Possibly a stamper or blotter? There is a tiny chip on the top corner and several tiny chips along the lower edges. It stands approx. 70 mm tall. The two inkwells both have tarnished and faded metal hinge neck areas. They close tight and flush when stood on the table top but when lay down, they open freely. Both have several tiny chips on edges. They stand aprox.40 mm tall. They measure approx. 25 mm along all sides. All items good but may need a light clean and polish to remove surface dust in crevices.”
