The wood pieces are generally good quality birds eye maple. Some also have nice ribboning. Perfect for small projects. Boards are flat and no warp. No work on jointer was needed to flatten pieces before planning. (But then these are short pieces). Note that some pieces are as short as 10.5". If your planner is prone to creating snipe on boards you will not have much left to work with. Also birds eye maple will easily tear out on planner. It took over two weeks for order to arrive.
