USPS was 1-1/2 hours late, but that's no fault of the seller's. The bass came in on the day it was expected, and that's good enough for me. It arrived VERY well packaged and protected, thus in excellent condition. In fact, whe I tuned this baby, only the E-string was just slightly low in pitch. It's action is low (kudos to that!) and the tone is awesome. The only thing is, I may have to replace the locking jack for the instrument cord, as I couldn't push it down hard enough to release it.
