Seller notes: “THIS BOOK IS IN VERY POOR CONDITION. It was a hardback book but the front and back covers and the ... “THIS BOOK IS IN VERY POOR CONDITION. It was a hardback book but the front and back covers and the spine are all missing. All that is left is the entire text block (i.e. the printed pages). (Photos #5 & #6 show the first & last pages, respectively.) There are pencil notations on the first (blank) page. On each of the two title pages (see below) is written "223.1 U" which suggests this may have been a library book. "223" is also written on the blank page that faces the first page of the Introduction. There is brown spotting (foxing) thoughout; on some pages this is fairly extensive. At the bottom of page 45 (first page of the actual Book of Job) is stamped a 5 digit number; the significance is unclear. There is some folding to the bottom of the last several pages. Please note that I am selling Volume 1 only, which has the long Introduction and Chapters I through XVIII (1 through 18) of the Book of Job. (The Book of Job has 42 chapters in all.) Please see photos. Sold as is.”
